A big Hi after a long interval

Posted by: jobinmartin on: January 10, 2009

Hi guys

It has been a long hibernation. Was a bit busy, so couldn’t post at puzzlehacker for a long time. Just as I shifted from here to techmartini, posts have grown minimal. Now planning to start posting at puzzlehacker since this blog has a far more visitors eventhough I had posted not even 1 post in over 6 months. It has made me rethink, and hence I am back to continue my work on this blog.

Meanwhile my new blog techmartini.com and drjobinmartin.com has started getting decent number of visitors. My work on this blog has remained unfinished over a long time. So starting over again, hoping to get a good reader feedback.

My other sites are

puzzlehacker.com and distortedriddle.com whcih are puzzle sites. Puzzlehacker.com was a great success. Due to time constraints I had to stop working on this websites altogether. So I plan to restart them too.Hoping your full support on this venture and starting off in a great mood.

How can blind lead the blind?

Posted by: jobinmartin on: September 15, 2008

Now a days the situation is that, blind men can lead others those who are blind and those who are not at all blind. These people who are blind followers have chosen their fate for misery. They are given their own chances to find out their way, to follow the right path. If people had used their brains instead of hearts to chose a leader, this world would have been a much better place to live in. Of course leaders live in splendour, from the wealth and power gained from their followers. These blind followers are the wealth of every leader. They exploit us, gain from us and when we have nothing to give them they thow us out like waste paper.

Newest addition to blogs-drjobinmartin.com

Posted by: jobinmartin on: July 16, 2008

It is a bright sunny day!

My dream has been realized , want to know how?

I started a new blog regarding diseases, treatment, newest modalities in medicine etc. etc.You may be wondering why anyone would bother to read a blog which is full of medical subjects!

Because:

I have started scribbling poems! So this has been a great year for me, in every sense. And I am trying to make diseases appear interesting by representing them in the form of poems, so that my readers may find it more interesting. I have written two posts in this manner and I am happy with the outcome. Be there and leave a comment to start it off….

Rise above saddness

Posted by: jobinmartin on: June 17, 2008

As sadness fills my mind and soul,
I don’t know what to think of,
My world has virtually come to an end.
I can, feel the sadness in my heart,
Pulling me down with lots of weight,
I go out of my house, to be with myself.
In the darkness as I sit alone,
The full moon shining upon me.
The crickets chirping, owls hooting,
A small breeze swept across my face,
I saw garden plants swaying in the breeze,
A thought passed through my mind.
If plants can stand lonely through the night,
If these crickets can stay in the cold,
Why can’t I pass this sadness with a smile,
And wait for the sun to rise.
Yes, I can rise above, and gather myself together.
Hence I rose from the darkness and cold,
And walked into my house of light and warmth.
Thank god,I have a very good life
To live for long with happiness ahead.

The Winter nights

Posted by: jobinmartin on: June 17, 2008

Oh, I love these winter nights a lot.
I feel the cold all over me.
I wrap myself in woolen clothes,
Hoping that it will keep this cold away.
But it finds its way somehow,
Into the blanket and over my body.

Oh! I wish my lover was with me,
So that I could emrace her and sleep.
I can see her next to me,
Sleeping with, all the beauty on her face.

Although it is cold outside,
It is always warm inside my heart.
Because I know I am the happiest man,
In the whole world who ever lived,
Though it may last only for one day.

I love these winter nights a lot.
I like to sleep a lot these days.
I can hear the sound of rain,
And I can feel the cold wind outside.
Because it is a winter night,
And it is always supposed to be like that!

Cellphone tricks- Put your phone to better use

Posted by: jobinmartin on: February 28, 2008

                                                                             mobilephone tricks
Your cellphone has Immense potential. mst of these potential is underutilized. Following tricks may help you find new exciting uses for your mobile.

1. Unlocking a car

Have you ever locked your keys in the car?Does your car have a remote keyless entry? The following may come in handy someday – and it’s reason enough to own a cell phone : If you lock your keys in the car and your spare remote is at home or with your spouse, call that person on their cell phone from your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person on the other end (the one with the spare remote) press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Believe it or not, your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you, and distance is no object . But if you are hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other “remote” for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk).

2) Now imagine your cell phone cell battery is very low. To activate your phone and tap into the phone’s hidden battery power, press the keys * 3 3 7 0 #. Your cell phone miraculously will restart with this reserve power and the cell phone will register a 50% increase in battery charge. This reserve power will get charged when you charge your cell phone next time. Doesn’t work on my phone!

3) Use 112 as an emergency number. But you can also use this number to bypass security code of low end phones like Nokia 1100. Type 112 and make a call ( 112 is the only number which can be dialled from a locked phone). As soon as the call is going, switch off the phone. Now switch on. Security code is bypassed. But this method doesn’t work if the user has put the pincode request also on!

4)Dual Simcard adapter

How about using 2 simcards in one phone? One for home and other for business. I have tried it works good. I use Airtel and Hutch simultaneously. You can get one from your local mobile store . It changes connexion automatically once you switch the phone off and switch it on again.

5) Google Reader on the run

The only thing worse than being away from your e-mail is being away from your news feeds. If you’re a Google Reader user, your feeds can go where you go. Just point your browser to the mobile version of the Google Reader site: www.google.com/reader/m. This small-screen version of the site lets you view your feeds, your subscriptions and even your tags. Plus, it’s a Google-run product, meaning you’re not handing your user ID and password to a third-party developer.
